DIS, Arnold Palmer Invitational Team Up On Ticket Package

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 28, 2007) – Daytona International Speedway – home to the prestigious Rolex 24 at Daytona sports car race – and the Arnold Palmer Invitational – one of the premier events in the PGA Tour – are joining forces to bring the world’s most talented race car drivers and top golfers together in one ticket package.

Available for $89, the Rolex 24/Arnold Palmer Invitational Package includes:

  • Two-day infield/grandstand ticket to the Jan. 26-27 Rolex 24 At Daytona
  • One-day admission to the Arnold Palmer Invitational on March 13-16

The 46th anniversary of the Rolex 24 At Daytona, scheduled for Jan. 26-27, is the kick off event to the international motorsports calendar as well as the season-opening race for the Rolex Sports Car Series. A star-studded field of champion drivers from NASCAR, IndyCar and Champ Car face off against the best from Grand-Am Rolex Series on Daytona’s historic road course in the ultimate test of man and machine.

            Besides the racing, the Rolex 24 also features a festive atmosphere with activities such as a massive driver autograph session, wine and cheese tasting, chili cook-off and a Midway with the largest Ferris Wheel on the East Coast.

            The Arnold Palmer Invitational, regarded as Orlando’s signature sporting event, will be celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2008 when the tournament is held on March 13-16 at the Bay Hill Club & Lodge. The tournament, which honors one of the legends in golf, Mr. Arnold Palmer, attracts top golfers from around the world.
